Gisborne is the first region in NZ to commence Kiwifruit harvesting each season and is renowned for high dry matter and high taste fruit. Approximately 80% of the regions supply is packed at NZ Fruits. First Fresh markets Green and Gold product not required by Zespri on the domestic market and ships Class II green kiwifruit to Australia.
