Lemons are sought after for both culinary and non-culinary purposes through out the world.

Boasting a distinctively sour taste, the juice, pulp and zest are mainly used in cooking and baking - it's a staple in dishes from one end of the globe to the other.

Lemons are the perfect mutli-tasker. Because they flower several times a season, Lemons can have several crops of different ages growing all at once  and can be harvested several times in the course of the season. 

In Gisborne First Fresh Lemons produce a main crop which is picked in Winter (June –Sept) with smaller (yet still significant) crops picked in Spring and Summer.
